What was once an epic, albeit short-lived, film company asked me to make them a sticker design. Done.

This is a portion of a newsletter that I designed as part of a competition. Everyone, including the judges, apparently liked it, but it didn't win. At least they *said* they did.

It's about time...

I'm finally getting my work online. It'll be going up piece-by-piece as I sort through my old stuff and find what I've worked on. Hopefully there are some places out there that need what I've got to offer. This should be good.

Move-in weekend, Part dos

We got it done.
Whitley parents, Helak Parents, and UJ and Nana and fam all came to help. Cleaned/carried stuff/put stuff away all day. Ate 4 pieces of pizza that were crazy huge.

The fridge is packed full of leftovers. Yes.

I'm in Ferndale with my wife now. Our house is pretty cool. We might have a little get-together housewarming thing this coming Saturday. We'll see.

Maggie came in and met my coworkers today. Marni said she was "hot".

Agreed.

Finished the book I was readin, gonna read somethin else now.

Good day so far. Pretty low key.

Moving Weekend

This weekend Maggie and I move to the new place in Ferndale.

Rawk.

I'm driving the Universal Images van. Sweeet. gonna see my parents for the first time in like 15 years. A little exaggerated, but living 4+hours away makes visiting time seldom. Plus I'm a bad son, so I hardly talk to them. I'm not a big phone talker.

Anyway, found out that another friend might move to CA. Craaaazy.

Last night was the annual UI party. Was fun for sure. Got to meet a lot of people in the company that I might not otherwise meet. Cody, up in Mediascape, is a baller. I met TK from Millennium Pictures. Also sweet. Hung with Mettler for a long time. Found out Louis is the bomb at pool. Good times had by all.

Friggin car

Sooooo my car doesn't work.

I'm bummin' rides with Adam (the Editor I assist) who's more or less my boss.

I got the car at Christmas time, and it's gone downhill.

The security chip on the key is something that is infamous for goin out. I think that's what's happening. Not to mention I wrecked it, and the door doesn't open.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I had crab cakes and blackened chicken for lunch.

Workin

So tonight I am working late.

Start is baller. I have fun and lose track of time from 9-5. Usually stay late and don't even notice. Tonight we're working on a non-paying side job. A music video. Not sure if I'm allowed to say stuff about what specifically I'm working on. I'm sure it's not a big deal, I just don't know all the rules yet.

Been getting the new house ready all weekend. Friggin' orange living room. Light, but bright orange. like if Halloween and Easter had a baby. The bedroom is green. The office is a good blue. The kitchen's my fave tho--Caution-tape yellow.

The house has a fully fenced-in back yard, Sounds like it's time to start savin for puppies. There's a nice garage. Of course I went to Home Depot and got a spring rake and a push broom. (thanks for the gift card mom and dad) 50 bucks bought me two items bc I don't settle for the cheap crap.

I just started a blog. Cuz I'm bored. By bored I mean "the bomb."

My Best friend Chase moved to Fresno CA two weeks ago. I don't know if I've realized how sad that is. I don't really let things get to me, so in my mind he's just a hardcore roadtrip away. If I think about it though, he's like really gone.

Needless to say, I don't think about it.

Chase, if you're reading this, you're the effin' taste.

Tonight, via email, Maggie approved a pack of Djarum Black Tea. We're gonna enjoy them together. Not sure if I was supposed to release that info either.
